CELL WALL
1.the contents of cell wall vary with animals.
[1]as in Plants it is made up of ;- Cellulose , Hemicellulose, pectin and protein
[2] in fungi it is made up of ;- cellulose ,Galactance, mannace ,and some minerals like calcium carbonate.
[3]when we move to prokaryotic animals cell wall is made up of peptidoglycans [ polysaccharide + Amino Acids].
some bacteria those are live in place where temp is very high have some other arrangemnts.
2. FUNCTIONS OF A CELL WALL ;-
[1] In all above cases the main function of cell wall is to protect the organism in harsh conditons and help in to maintain the balance between internal and external enviorment of organism.
I TRIED MY BEST TO EXPLAIN THIS .
